Excellencies Publishing is an independent Christian publishing house founded as an imprint of Excellencies of Christ Ministries. We exist to carry the mission of that ministry into the written word — producing books that proclaim the person of Jesus Christ, disciple the church in the knowledge of God, and build communities of genuine love for Him.
Every title we publish is shaped by a singular conviction: that knowing God is the most transformative thing a human being can do. We exist to make that journey available through carefully crafted, theologically rich writing.

Allen Hood is a teacher, author, and minister whose life work has been to lead people into a deep and transformative encounter with the person of Jesus Christ. His distinctive gift is the ability to wed rigorous theological depth with pastoral warmth — making complex truths of Christian theology accessible, compelling, and personally formative.
For nearly two decades, he served in senior ministry leadership, developing theological curriculum and discipling thousands in the knowledge of God through his course, The Excellencies of Christ.
In December 2019, Allen founded Excellencies of Christ Ministries, launching a new chapter of teaching, writing, and creative ministry focused on proclaiming the person of Jesus Christ and forming communities of love for Him.
