A $30 donation enables Excellencies to proclaim the person of Christ and disciple one person in the knowledge of God. When you become a $30/month partner, our ministry can disciple 12 students a year in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

There is nothing more life-changing than the good news of Jesus. It is the very power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16). This message transformed Paul so deeply that he considered everything in his life up until then—his religious upbringing and spiritual legacy—as loss compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Jesus Christ, his Lord (Philipians 3:8).
In recent times, with so much turmoil and crisis in the church—especially in our backyard of the worship and prayer movement—I have found myself feeling the same. I count it all as loss for the excellencies of knowing Him. This has always been about Him, and He’s calling us to return to Him. It’s time for the knowledge of Jesus to refire and refuel everything we do.
This is the heartbeat of Excellencies of Christ Ministries. Our mission is to proclaim the person of Christ, disciple the church in the knowledge of God, and build communities of love for Jesus.
Put simply, we want to know Christ and make Him known.
Over the last four years, the Lord has graciously enabled us to make Him known to over 10,000 students on our online course platform. What a testimony of His faithfulness! Among many thrilling developments, we are beginning to see various training programs and ministry schools around the world utilize our courses in their curriculum.
I was recently encouraged by this testimony from a young woman named Melanie who has taken our courses at Revive School in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
“I have been watching Allen Hood's Intimacy with the Father course and it has changed my view of the Lord and how He sees me. I no longer simply see Him as my God, but as my Father who longs for me and walks with me like a child, holding my hand. This has changed everything—how I view myself, how I pray and talk to God in the secret place. His love has even changed the way I view other people, talk to them, and pray over them…It has been such a blessing!”
When one person like Melanie encounters the power of the gospel, it has a ripple effect. Yes, the environment of transformation is often small and the pace of change can feel painfully slow, but this is the way of the Kingdom. This is what real discipleship looks like. It’s like the mustard seed—the smallest seed becomes the largest tree (Matthew 13:32). I am rejoicing today that Melanie has more deeply encountered the heart of her Father. Only time will tell what the fruit of her life will be as she intimately knows Him and makes Him known.
In order to make this ripple effect as large as we can, the Lord has invited our ministry to take a big step of faith in this season to make Him known. As of this month, we have launched out and made all our online courses and resources FREE!

Thank you for joining our online courses over the last few years. It has been an honor journeying into the knowledge of God with you — through the videos, notes, and especially the live webinars.
When we first launched our online school in 2020, we set out to bridge one of the biggest gaps in Christian discipleship. There are many ways to describe this divide. It is the gap between the Bible and our spiritual lives; the space between our heads and our hearts.
The great journey of the Christian life is not only growing in our intellectual knowledge of God, but also cultivating an intimate knowledge of God as a person. He’s not only God. He’s our Savior, our Lord, our Friend. This intimacy is where lasting transformation takes place!

Jesus famously said, “On this rock [the truth of who Christ is], I am building my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it,” (Matthew 16:18). According to Paul, it is through the church that “God’s manifold wisdom is made known to the principalities and powers” of darkness (Ephesians 3:10).
All around the world, Jesus is doing incredible things through His church. It is one of our highest honors at Excellencies of Christ Ministries to play a part in making Him known through the local church.
My dear brother Dominik Butler pastors a precious church called Gold Street Garden down in Palm Harbor, Florida. He recently shared a video testimony about our ministry and courses have blessed their local congregation.
I was specifically touched hearing the following words:

I hope you have been blessed by the many testimonies of our courses going into local churches, Bible schools, and even hopeless places like prisons.
In fact, this is why we removed the paywall on our courses and made them free. We wanted the word to go forth swiftly and be glorified.
We are passionate about knowing Jesus and making Him known. We want that knowledge to go forth as easily as possible to as many possible around the world, including Muslim and Buddhist homes.

Jesus said that the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matt. 9:37-38). In other words, the opportunities are amazing, but the resources are few.
Therefore, we have to pray for God to bring resources and to raise up laborers. This is where we are at right now with Excellencies of Christ!
